BSc Kinesiology, MSc Physiotherapy, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Instructor at McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program
Played Division 1 Softball for Liberty University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Kinesiology. Additionally, she completed her Master’s Degree of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2012. To date she has completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Course, Therapeutic Taping, Skills in Hands on Functional Assessment Course and Spinal Manipulation Therapy Level 1. Her strong interest in the athletic population has led her to working with various NHL, professional soccer and Olympic athletes in addition to treating volleyball, baseball and rugby athletes.
Kristina is a well-rounded physiotherapist who believes in incorporating musculoskeletal assessments with a neurofunctional approach in the development of treatment plans as well as providing a holistic and well-rounded approach to wellness and well being.
In addition to general physiotherapeutic treatments, Kristina is able to provide various treatment techniques including: myofascial release, fascial release, electro-acupuncture, therapeutic and kinesiotaping, athletic bracing and neurovascular treatment. Since 2016 Kristina has been an instructor with the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.
In her spare time, Kristina enjoys strength and conditioning training and also plays ice hockey, volleyball and golf.
