Promoting Wellness with Pediatric Physical Therapy Services
Our paediatric physiotherapy services are specifically designed to support children's health, fostering improved mobility and enhanced quality of life.
Infants, children and teenagers function differently from adults...
Physiotherapists who work with paediatric populations are experienced in the assessment, identification and treatment of disorders of movement and physiological concerns. They treat children (infants up until the age of 18 years) in the areas of orthopedics, congenital malformations, and neurology.

About Kaitlyn Ross
Kaitlyn has always had a passion for working with kids! Whether as a gymnastics and soccer coach, camp counselor or volunteer positions at children centers, she has always loved to help children reach their goals.
Kaitlyn grew up playing multiple sports competitively. She quickly realized her interest in human movement, anatomy and rehabilitation, following several of her own injuries. Kaitlyn decided at a young age she wanted to be a physiotherapist and a friend’s experience with physiotherapy during their pediatric oncology treatment solidified her passion for working with the pediatric population.
Kaitlyn attended Brock University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree, followed by a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, graduating in 2012 and has called the Niagara region home for the last 15 years.
Her pediatric physiotherapy experience began in 2012. Kaitlyn’s clinical practice has ranged from interdisciplinary pediatric clinics, and hospital settings, to a pediatric oncology research study at the Hospital for Sick Children (Sickkids). She is passionate about helping kids and their families meet goals, while accomplishing this in a fun and energetic environment! She has taken continuing education in several areas, most recently becoming the first Canadian CureDuchenne certified Physical Therapist.
Kaitlyn currently holds a position as Adjunct Professor for McMaster University School of Rehabilitation Science, where she provides instruction on paediatric physiotherapy. In addition to teaching, Kaitlyn has also had the opportunity to present research at various conferences.
When not in the clinic, Kaitlyn can be found chasing after her three young children, coaching or hiking the Niagara escarpment and provincial parks.
